Useful websites from Classroom 2.0
Submitted by Nick Hershman on 2008-03-05
After doing some research about this website, I've found a few
promising spots on the internet. I'll briefly describe them.
Searching for curriculum sharing and education resources I stumbled
upon the first site
Classroom
2.0. Looking through the forum I found some great information
posted by other teachers who have scoured the net for useful tools.
One of the sites that was suggested from classroom 2.0 was
sketchcast. I signed up for this
service. Unfortunately my current access to the internet is too
slow to record a presentation using my computer microphone, but I
am able to easily record presentations without sound. This is
definitely a neat presentation tool with potential for teachers and
students. Finally, I found a science teacher who had students
posting their lab results online using WiKi pages. This to me seems
like a neat way to publish and save student work. Parents, other
students, and the teacher after the Wiki page is published have
easy access to it - the ability to discuss it and more.
