A parking space in a riverside village in Devon has gone on the market for £100,000, leaving some villagers shocked.
Estate agents in Shaldon think the undercover space in the village centre will sell this Friday.
But despite some people being baffled, not all residents were surprised by the high price of the parking space, Devon Live reports.
A person said: “Everybody is laughing about it – but at the end of the day if you can afford a £2million house and you want to live down by the river, an extra £100,000 probably doesn’t matter to you!”

There is security lighting and the 999-year lease started in 2016. The space measures 4.5m x 2.84m, with a height of 2.08m.
Julie Carden, the manager of Bradleys’ Shaldon office, said: “We have received a lot of interest. A lot of people are talking about it.
“There is generally a lack of parking within Shaldon because the village wasn’t built with cars in mind!
“There are many houses in the heart of Shaldon which have no parking or restricted parking, and therefore parking spaces like this are always going to be sought after.”
It comes after a parking space in London went on the market for £210,000 earlier this year.
The spot, located in Hyde Park Gardens, comes with an unexpired lease of 85 years and is located minutes away from central London.
It is within walking distance from Hyde Park, Oxford Street and the West End.
It costs nearly as much as the average price for a home in the UK, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
In 2019, a parking spot in Knightsbridge was put on the market for £250,000.
