Police have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to, after the 46-year-old wheelchair-user was stabbed outside a shop following an altercation
A man in a wheelchair was stabbed in the arm after an argument outside a shop.
Police have released CCTV after a verbal altercation broke out between two men at around 8.30pm on Monday November 11, by The Off Licence near Lower Breck Road, in Liverpool.
The man then returned and stabbed the 46-year-old victim before making off on a bike.
Detectives have now released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with their enquiries.
DI Ben Dyer said: “This is a callous and cowardly attack to a vulnerable person.
“I am appealing to the person featured in these images, or anyone who recognises him to come forward.
“We believe they could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.
“This incident took place at the junction of Townsend Lane and Lower Breck Road in the evening of Thursday, November 11, so if you were in the vicinity at the time of the incident and saw anything, then please let us know.”
